Saturday was the huge =93Lovefest 2008=94 street party in San Francisco.
There seemed to be tens of thousands of people there, everyone from
old-school hippies in tie-dye to young ravers in day-glo to ****ists
wearing nothing at all.
There was a psychedelic parade down Market Street from around
Montgomery all the way to Civic Center. It was fun watching tourists
and families gawking at all the drugged-out ****d people. Then I
wandered through U.N. Plaza on the way to the public square in front
of City Hall, stopping to smoke some marijuana at the spot where the
treaty ending WWII was signed.
I brought along five hits of acid and a gram of high-grade marijuana,
and everyone there seemed to be on some drug and the smell of pot
filled the air. Liquor was everywhere, too, and I wound up escorting
a drunk teenager onto the train home and he vomited on the floor next
to me. Really gross, and I told him that stuff would kill him and he
should have taken some LSD or E instead.
Oh, and the image of the Great Prophet Obama was everywhere. The
Obamoids had even erected a trinket booth and were selling pins,
bumper stickers, t-****rts, etc. to gullible ravers.
