You'd have people tackling each other if they *weren't* jonesing!! They
could have just done a blast,and they'd STILL act like they'd not had any
in
a week!! LOL
Speaking of that behaviour, how many of you are familiar with (or
remember)
a practice called "handing out testers"? A drug dealer would come down the
street, and whisper to certain people "We're handing out testers round the
corner in 15 minutes. Don't tell anybody else." By the time the dealer got
to the designated spot, there were 1500 people milling around, and cop
cars
going up and down the street. (Of course he'd only told 5 people though!)
Then, depending on how good the dope(coke too, but usually heroin) was,
they
would either make the crowd follow them around for an hour trying to find
a
safe place, and when enough people gave up and went somewhere else, then
they'd hand them out, or, a couple of people would be in different spots
in
front of the crowd, and they'd go 1,2,3, throw them over the heads of the
crowd, then turn around and run like hell! The crowd would be scrambling
around on the ground like a bunch of animals, getting their hands stepped
on, getting kicked and stomped, but it didn't matter, long as they got a
'tester'.
Of course the testers were always 'the bomb', it would be some of the best
dope you ever had, but then when the crew started 'working out' (selling
it), it wouldn't be worth diddly.....they made a WHOLE LOT of money
though,
cause everyone figured it would be like the testers.........
