I tried saliva for the first time last week and while I found the
experience to be rather enjoyable, the after affects were horrible.
I felt hungover, complete with nausea, headache, etc. It took almost
two days and a lot of sleep before I felt normal again.
I had smoked the salvia so in case I had a bad sample or it was the
smoke I was reacting to, I purchased a tincture from a different
source and took the minimum recommended amount in the instructions
that came with it. I had a mild, stage 1 experience that lasted about
an our, but then started feeling bad shortly afterwards. Very tired,
slightly nauseous, very susceptible to motion sickness. That wore off
after about 8 hours, but I attribute that to the low dose I took.
Anyone out there have any advice on how to mitigate these after
affects? Anyone else having this kind of reaction? I'm healthy, eat
well, excercise daily, don't drink or smoke, not on any other
medications. Are some people allergic to Salvia while others are
not? Is there something I should be doing ahead of time, eg eating,
not eating, drinking lots of water, etc to better prepate myself?
