Are there any plants in the world that have traces of what people
call, benzodiazepine substances? Or, are the benzo's completely
synthesized, artificially, in a lab, and have no counter parts in
nature? Opium comes from a plant, and coca comes from a plant. You
would think that in the plant world, there would be a plant that would
have substances in it that are similar to the chemical properties of
benzo's of different kinds, as a result of the natural forces of
evolutionary development.
I believe, and many may laugh at this, but, poppy plants, for
instance, realized, intuitively, and they do have brains, sense
organs, and nervous systems, and they can put two and two together,
and come up with rational solutions, the need in humans, and in
animals, for pain relief. That sounds funny.
But pain relief molecules are pain relief molecules, and they are in
the human body, and they are in animal bodies, and plants can detect
them, and plants could figure out that they play a significant role in
the lives of animals and humans, and they could figure out that if
plants produced these same molecules, they had a chance of being
planted and harvested by humans, for example, and their species would
thrive. Food crops are pretty much the same way. They innately,
attuned themselves to humans and to animals and developed what animals
would need to survive. The side benefit to that for the food crop is
that it gets distributed over a wide area of land, thanks to the
animals eating them, and pooping out the seeds for offspring, on land
where they then can take root, and grow. It's a plant survival
strategy, and food crops use it, not only of the kinds for humans, but
for animals, as well, obviously, and opium and coca use similar
survival strategies, though perhaps more sophisticated, but not really
that much more sophisticated.
So, the question is, didn't any plant figure out that the chemicals
found in benzo diazepenes would be of benefit to humans, and to
animals, and didn't any plants develop them, as part of their survival
strategy, in their internal laboratories, their roots, stalks, flower
bulbs, flower petals, and leaves, and if they did, where are these
plants?
Does ha****sh or even opium have traces of benzo's in them? Do other
psychotropic plants have traces of benzo's in them? Where can we find
more info on this?
Thanks.
