Ok, say this guy - you know, just a regular old shmoe like you or me -
managed to successfully cultivate a few pounds of magic mushrooms.
Obviously that would be more than the hypothetical shroom farmer could
eat in six months. Naturally, he wants to save his harvest for
posterity. Aside of drying them out, is there some way to store or can
these precious delicacies in a manner that would preserve them for years
on end if need be?
I read about suspending them in honey, but that sounds kinda nasty. How
about freezing them? Or, freeze drying them? Suspension in grain
alcohol? Dessicating them, grinding them to a powder, and then some
sort of suspension?
Any ideas? Obviously in theory we would want to do so in such a manner
that would not erode potency during the process. I assume the
psilocybin would degrade or break down over time, but there must be a
way to keep this at a minimum as well, right?
