We thought you should know that (We are pointing out that opiophile.org
doesnt have anything to do with this post):
"...Synthetikal contacted me, wanting to know about linking our sites
together. I thought this was a great idea, especially since he (like so
many others) took the liberty of going ahead with promoting his own
here, anyway. Before I linked up their forum, I thought I would at
least ask about all these pop up ads, in-screen ads, and what-have-you
that pollute his board, and what I could do to link directly to their
information, rather than ask our members to sift through their garbage
in order to get to the info.
Before I could get any kind of decent reply, I get another email from
Synthetikal, asking if he could host opiophile.org. After a kindly no
thank-you, I get another three or four additional mailings, trying to
persuade us into putting these same advertisements on our site (buying
them through him, of course.) So after several more no-thank you's, I
get an additional message stating that if we don't comply, we're going
to be shut down as synthetikal has ties in 'high places'.
...."
We should think twice before we sup****t people like that. Not much
information on synthetical's board either.
