I burned out on the M I whatever guy. It's nice to see people ON
methadone using this forum. I'm on 210 mg. 24 years straight. 13 years
clean. Having trouble with my dose. It changes. Sound like a
conspiracy freak but I really think the Mallinckrodt co. could give a
**** about the quality of the liquid. I get 6 take homes a week. Last
week I KNOW my dose was maybe 60mg short. Heroin addicts are pretty
self aware. How else could you buy dope on the street on know what you
got. Believe me, no one goes back to the connection with a shotgun
demanding their money back if they don't know if they are loaded! The
clinic take advantage of low self esteem and tells you... it's not the
methadone; it's you. Like you don't know dope sick. I was dope sick
like most junkies every day until I got dope. I must have been sick
1000 times. At least. Now I'm stuck on a high dose, 55 years old and
am hassling with the clinic over not being stabilized. Most people on
methadone just get the dose, leave, and fix it themselves. I have
changed clinics 3 times in 18 months. Happened at every one. Not the
nurses, not the machines, not me. Have a great Dr. Took so much blood,
etc. tested me for everything. even my hepatitis C has gone dormant.
So I thing this is an Adverse Drug Event. ADE
like the Heparin maybe something is wrong. anybody else had this
happen? I notice because I have been clean sao long. thanks, Sandra
