Hey, I thought I'd share my experience here because,A)I Find it ****ing
INCREDIBLE, and B)It worked for my girlfriend at the sametime. We had
both heard about kratom use in methadone withdrawal, and we decided to
try. She has been on meth 4 years, 120mg a day, myself for 6 months at
100mg per day. We bought 15:1 Kratom, 24 grams(makes 12 GOOD brews)
and a pound of kratom leaf(good for 40-50 GOOD Brews)). We ordered all
said Material from a reputable ethnobotanical store online, with a
totaal cost of $170. We set our"stop date", and here we go. Both
stopped going to clinic, and on day 2, things started getting mighty
difficult. We made a HUGE batch of tea(enough for 3 days). On day
two, we both drank 2 cups and ate around 10 grams of resinous leafy
matter. WD's GONE withn an hour. Nice and relaxed. We were snuggling
onj the couch commenting to each other how well this seems to be
working so far. Next thing, we awoke 10 hours later. Now on day four.
Making and drinking tea all day--a little naseous, othyer then that,
relaxed and NO WD'S!!! Fast forward to day 10. We have been homebound
since we started, eating occasionally, drinking kratom tea every 5-6
hours. We also have plenty of valium and clonazepam, but,
surprisingly, only used the valium 4 times(me) and 2(her). Day 11,
drank one cup of tea at noon, ate 5 tabs of valium each, we passed out,
and it was day 12. We decided to try this day with NO tea, anything at
all. We talked about our experience over the past 2 weeks,had a
chilled out day, Day 13, NO KRATOM, NO METHADONE!!!!!!! NO
WD"S!!!!!CLEAR HEADS!!! I HAD to share this with you all, because at
the beginning I thought no way it would work, or else many many many
others would haave done it. It has now been 19 days since either of us
had our meth, 5 days no Kratom. Neither of us is in ANY discomfort. I
think studies should be done on this BIG TIME, as myself and my
signifigant other did NOT taper, just stopped meth, started Kratom,
only discomfort was occasional nasea, thats it. I no longer have to
leave piss twice a week, I nop longer have to go to the clinic for
drinks daily. I went to the clinic yesterday, saw my meth doc, who
told me I had to restart the program, as I had missed so many days, and
I thought, what an idiot! I told him the method of our withdrawal from
meth, and he obviously thought I hadf just started using dope again. I
offered blood, which he gave me a requisition for to check for any
opioids, and made an appt. for Jan 3. I think he'll **** when he
realizes I have ZERO opiate/opioids in me. Sorry so long, but I HAD to
share this experience, and more research really ought to be done on
using Kratom for opioid withdrawal. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!
