I had people crash at my apartment from time to time out west. One time, I
stupidly let a guy and a girl both of them heavily into methamphetamine,
stay at my place a couple of nights. I mean, I didn't even *know* these
people. I was doing it as a favor to a friend. By the third day, both of
them, especially the girl, was tweaked-out so badly it was next to
impossible to understand what she was saying. She did clean my house
though,
she was so full of energy. But the two of themeventually got into a heated
argument over something-or-other. At one point, she picked up my phone and
asked her cousin to come over there, as muscle, basically. And they were
still yelling at each other, and I told them if they wanted to shout at
each
other to go outside, which they did. They went a ways from my apartment,
so
I couldn't hear what they were saying, but the landlady did. She saw them
returning to my apartment, so she knew where they were. She immediately
called me and strongly requested that I get those two out of my house NOW,
if not sooner. I said OK and hung up. A few minutes after that, she called
back and asked me if I needed any help with this situation. I told her I'd
have the answer in fifteen minutes. So I turned to the two "guests" and
told
them about the landlady's concerns. "She wants you out right now. Do I
need
any help with this situation or not?" Mercifully, they left without making
even more trouble. The girl died of AIDS two years later.
