I remember my 1st trip in 1969. An orange barrel,possibly ald-52,but
still a bit strong for my head. I shouldhave been scared right off it
by the sheer immensity of the experience but I fell inlove with it.
the following years were happy times scoring a hit or two as I
desired, somany different types ofblotters and pills, One favorite tab
used laundry soap as a base. :)
I should have been buying quantities rather than singles,stockpiling
in the freezer for later times when the supply dwindled. Oh well, I
was just a kid then and thought it would last forever... Timeschange
and so did the acid scene... the last time Itripped was in 1987 and it
was a **** poor trip,even at the 5 hits it took to produce an effect.
Psychedelics, the only class of drug that interested me. Manna from
heaven.
At 53 I'm afraid I saw the last of it many years ago, thanks to
cultural changes in the scene, and the efforts of Law Enforcement to
rid the world of what may have been most useful drug.
Back in the 60s and 70's we sought out Organic stuff as better forthe
head and attached a premium to "Organic mescaline"and psilocybin (Much
of which was LSD sold deceptively. Ididn't care. Iliked
allpychedelic manna the same. Now i'sprobably easier toget psilocybin
in the formof shrooms ... If I could only trust those adds selling
s****eprints. (BOYS RAISE GIANT MUSHROOMS IN YOUR BASEMENT, MAKE BIG
BUCKS!!!)
Oh well.... Just found this newsgroup. Thanksfer the memories and
the chance to put some random thoughts into print. The 60's are gone,
asis my chance to acquire a stable and steady supply of psychedelic
manna. A pity as I'm in a state inmy life that I could really use
somegood ego-dissolvingly intense trips.
Being 50ish sucks. Being 50ish without Acid sucks bigtime...
I guess what I need istoaskmy doc to raise my dose of prozac .
