Greetings from Shakyamuni Buddha, formerly known as Keegan Miller.
My first trip on LSD came, let me see, about 3 nights ago. It was
intense. The high points were looking at all the beautiful dancing
patterns in the screen static on a television, and talking out some
tension between my younger brother and myself. It was a growing
experience in every way. And yet, I feel as if I could have gained
more from it if I had been more correctly prepared for it.
Therefore I accept the mission of improving the education about this
drug as a part of the normal education received by every ordinary
citizen of this country, and hopefully, more of the world in time.
Here is what I have come to realize about the drug:
1. It is a catalyst to advanced thought processes. It enhances avenues
of awareness to previously unimagined levels. Logically this means
that if there is an intellectual problem to be solved, LSD can provide
myriad beneficial enhancements to the minds of all involved, except
children. However I believe only the most challenging problems deserve
this kind of strenuous attention, and only in rare doses. I hesitate
to openly recommend taking LSD to anyone because the past three days
have been, while quite wonderful, not the most pleasant. My mind feels
burnt out. While I was tripping I had the impression that things which
had acquired a wonderful new fluidity were once again freezing solid.
This startled me. I had never thought of my mind as being frozen solid
before. And yet as I came down, relaxing for the next 2 days, I still
understood what I had been afraid of. My world is, now compared to
when I was on LSD, frozen. Except in that I have realized this
solidity, and have learned to be fluid within it.
2. I knew almost nothing about LSD. Even my several experiences with
psychoactive mushrooms hadn't prepared me for this. And, I still know
almost nothing about the potential uses for this drug. What I want to
do, with your help, is to compile a list of helpful advice about
tripping on LSD. When should a person try his or her first trip? What
designates their readiness? What environment is best for tripping, and
what are some wonderful activities to try? (I highly recommend looking
into the tv static.) What is the most gratifying way to come down?
I also wish to compile a list of testimonials from people who have
benefited from LSD. We must sway the minds of those who would deny us
something so beneficial.
I'm very interested in discussing these and other questions with other
LSD enthusiasts who are committed to seeing this incredible drug
realized as a common tool for the mental growth of the humans of Earth.
