I suffer from dissociative identity disorder - multiple personalities
& the whole gambit - and have found DXM oddly useful for
self-medicating. As I understand it, DXM is a dissociative, so I
don't quite understand why it works so well. I can function so much
better when I'm on a long run of binging on DXM than when I dry out
from it for awhile. I function like a normal person - I'm sociable, I
keep up with my hygiene & apartment cleaning, I get along with
everyone and I just feel all around better. As a dissociative,
shouldn't a dissociative drug make my symptoms worse instead of
better?
Any pointers to info on the net about this would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks for your time.
