Green tea may lead to a healthy heart.
A new study findss green tea improves blood flow and expands
arteries. That can lower the risk of heart disease.
A team of greek researchers out of athens medical school gave fourteen
healthy volunteers either green tea, diluted caffeine, or hot water.
Those who sipped the green tea, showed an immediate improvement in the
cells that relax arteries and ease blood flow.
The findings appear in the European Journal of Cardiovascular
Prevention and Rehabilitation."
Well, I am no doctor, but it seems to me that this might aliviate some
of the crack damage to our arteries. At least it couldn't hurt to
start drinking some green tea. Not the most delicious potion in my
book, but probably worth a try.
I have been drinking carmomile tea after smoking to calm me down.
Seems to work, but I have to wait to get my body temperature back to
normal, before I can stand the heat from the tea.
