Family Held Hostage By Son Wanting Crack Cocaine

A Hixson man accused of beating and holding his family hostage for
drug money appears in court next week.
Bruises and scars mark the left side of 24 year old David Hixson's
face.
His grandfather hit him with a 30 inch metal rail to stop him from
beating his grandmother and daughter.
Police re****ts show last weekend Hixson told his mother if she didn't
give him 50 dollars for drugs he would quote cut her eyes out. He had
a knife on him.
He repeatedly punched his mother, grandmother and hit his grandfather
with a bookshelf.
Officers say Hixson held his family hostage from Friday night into
Saturday morning.
