I never even attempted such large doses, and from what I've read I'm
pretty sure you will experience very bad withdrawals.  You will need
to taper off very slowly over several weeks or months, quitting cold
turkey could be very hazardous.  Typical prescribed doses range from
a 0.25mg to several mg per day, your dose is even higher than anything
I've experimented with back when I was strung out on it (I think I
did 12mg once, and that and even lower doses would always make me pass
out).
